THE MAN BEHIND THE BRAND

José Maria Ferreira is a Portuguese businessman, born in the city of Porto, with professional background in engineering, architecture and design.

Founder and manager of his own metal works company, for more than 30 years, José Maria Ferreira stands out for his pioneering and visionary spirit, aimed at developing customized solutions by establishing close relationships and partnerships within the industry including research, new technology and architecture.

In 2003, he launched the minimal frame systems in the Iberian market and consequently founded his own first branded system in 2008. A system that is well known in the UK today. After many years of development and improvement, José Maria Ferreira introduced the new and updated minimal frames system and brand: Much more than a Window, to the market in 2014.

Known for his leadership traits, entrepreneurship, and passion for human relations, which he naturally establishes and nurtures, José Maria Ferreira extends this to the management of his business and assets. His particular affinity for art is reflected in the political sponsorship, partnerships and supports he grants to artists and several entities in the areas of Arts, Culture and Solidarity.
